Minefield 10
« on: February 07, 2012, 12:27:47 AM »
There seems no way to disable the official branding in minefield10, when built according to the official instructions on how to disable official branding.  So for now, no minefield10, until I find a solution or workaround.

Even version 11 beta behaves this way, and I used other --enable-build type of options.

Until this is resolved, we are just stuck with version 9 or the official firefox.

Does Mozilla know?
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.

Tonight I will build once more to make sure the "--with-branding=/path/to/branding" path is correct, pointing to unofficial, hopefully that should work and be more reliable across releases than simply disabling the official branding.  I would think that others would have run into this too, but I don't see any bug reports anywhere.  If I can't get it after trying again, I will consider filing a bug.
