How many terabytes can be attached on a P4 PC?
« on: February 19, 2012, 01:08:33 PM »
hello,
I would like to connect few HDDs (current 40GB + 3? x 1? TB? for data-redundancy) on a P4 PC.
Before I order them, how much TBs can be connected on a PC with CoreLinux? What is the limit?
Thanks.
AMD K6-IIIATZ 550MHz MB DFI K6xv3/+66
P4 HP DC7100 3GB 3GHz
Samsung NC10 boot from SD card port (via USB reader)
.. all TinyCore proofed

No limit from Core itself. The file system might have some limit, I think ext4 in our kernel had 16tb max.
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.
