compilation kernel-3.0.3 with gcc-3.3.6.tcz

is it possible to compile kernel-3.0.3 ONLY with gcc-3.3.6.tcz and make.tcz

if not what is require for gcc-3.3.6.tcz

A full compiling environment (headers etc), plus ncurses and perl.
