vey new user of tc

hi im new to tiny core an havnt been using it for very long at all i got it through [remaster] and ive been very intersted in how the os works but i am absloutly usless with it lol. iv manage to mount my hard drive to access files on it. but i cant install any appplications on tc. i have windows xp originally so download the apps through window and move them to where i can access files on tc but im still no closer to installing them.

we all know knowlage is power and it would be much appreciated if someone could talk to me and give me some sort of tuition for tc thanks again

What do you mean "i got it through [remaster]"?
If this is sombody's custom version you will need to ask them for support.

I suggest you download the current version from the web site, and read the wiki installation instructions.

Chances are your hard drive has an NTFS format which is not suitable for installing applications. Only
FAT and EXT are supported. Try installing to a thumb drive with the proper format instead. Also, please
take some time to read the wiki and the forums to gain some understanding Tinycore.
