[SOLVED] TC fails to start X

Just updated to TC4.2 on my usb. After grub dialog box for choosing an appropriate wm I get to black prompt screen. "tinycore xsetup" / "xsetup.sh" / "startx" -- nothing works.
Why?

Please read the 4.2 release notes.
Update your dep files.
Update your extensions.
You onboot list needs:
Xlibs.tcz, Xprogs.tcz, an X server ( Xvesa or one of the Xorgs ), and a windows mangager such as flwm_topside.tcz.

If you don't already have them, just "tce-load -iw" any of the missing ones.

Why on earth should I update something, when I downloaded iso and installed it on to a formatted usb to boot from?
Like any other previous version I pick an option and load into X. Why should I do something else to boot the X server? The base iso should include all dependencies else how do you expect me to download and install them without booting TC?

I've read the release notes, there is nothing about changes and actions during first boot. Are you implying that I should guess it?

Core 4.2 has new Xlibs and Xprogs, and the new Xprogs requires fltk-1.10.tcz.
When you update from a previous release by replacing tinycore.gz with core.gz, you must also copy the required
files and add them to onboot.lst.

I'm sorry. This is my mistake for misleading you with "update" word.
What I did:
1. Downloaded new 4.2 Coreplus.iso
2. Fromatted my USB
3. Installed new 4.2 Coreplus.iso via unetbootin
4. Booted from USB and picked an option of flwm_ontop
5. Get dropped into prompt

My actions after:
1. Try different boot options -- no result
2. Seeking wiki or tinycore info on changers -- no information was found
3. Posting in forum
4. Getting an answer to read release notes -- I've read them
5. Modifying the onboot list to load the needed libs -- Upon boot libs are not loaded, cause they do not exist in the specified directory
6. Finally, I understand, that I should manually choose the needed ones from the other directory and copy them back to the empty one.
7. Rebooting again and while still getting an error message that Xprogs.tcz Xlibs.tcz and Xvesa.tcz were not found, X are started and I'm in the gui without a preconfigured wbar of TC4.1 version.

What should I think now?
Do the developers expect a new user to magically know all this?

If the changes are made to the initial boot process, they should be documented and explained, or a workaround should be provided. In fact it would be enough for me to know where basic tczs should be copied to. But nothing was done, so at current point TC is closed to new users, not many will be able to try it and all your hard work will not be adequately appreciated.

This should be added to wiki page on the main site maybe? It would be nice to have a section devoted to usb installation.
I've registered here only, when I needed a solution. So the issue on correct USB booting for TC, remains unsolved, provided the user used unetbootin (which is a 90% chance, I guess) and didn't search the forum.

Our official install guide* can be used for usb just fine, in fact the video shows it used on usb.

If you believe it's needed on the wiki, please add it, the wiki is user contributed (use your forum login).

Unetbootin is not part of Tiny Core. It is third party software and as such is not aware of our installation requirements.
