Is the AppBrowser "provides" information stored somewhere that would be accessible from another browser?

Hi slkpg
I'm not sure of precisely what you are looking for. The link that vinnie provided is for all the extensions
and their support files. If you go here:
http://distro.ibiblio.org/tinycorelinux/4.x/x86/http://distro.ibiblio.org/tinycorelinux/4.x/x86/
There is a file called  provides.db  that may contain what you are looking for. It might be a MySQL
database or even a text file, I don't assume file content based on file extensions.

provides.db is an awk database file, as such, it is plain text.

Hi roberts
Thanks for the clarification. And that is why I don't assume file content based on filename extensions.

Thanks. I was just trying to figure out a way to index the extensions site when accessed by a plain browser like opera. Best I could come up with is to add yet another filename to each extension when submitted. So something like

z-index-browser-opera

This would group by functionality at the bottom of the page, like an index. If the extension name is in the file, it might be possible to automatically construct a topic page with headings over groups of extensions.
