ehy juan, work well with 9.0 : http://img576.imageshack.us/img576/6024/outbu.png (scan of printed test page).
I have not tested with a pdf (in reference to what you said), when I do I inform you.
Could I ask you to re-enter these packets, perhaps with a name like "ghostscript_old" "ghostscript_common_old" and in description something like "for compatibility with printers that print only in black and white or color".
There might also write "possible errors with printing PDF".

Thanks ;)

I retract everything I said, ghostscript 9.0 only print the test page, everything else is covered with black squares.
I will try to install an intermediate version, I hope to fill.

ok, I tried to compile the 9.02, I did it with no problem (also uses autoconf).
However I was not able to print.
Maybe I just have to hope to do a new driver, maybe joining on the bug reports.
Juanito, you have any suggest? some argouments I may have forgotten need to work ghostscript compiling?

I had a look at dropping back to ghostscript-9.02, but I was concerned this would re-introduce the problem with printing some recent versions of pdf.

I'm not a fan of using git versions of apps, but this seems to cure the problem of only printing in greyscale, so the git version is posted for now.
