looking at the release date of tc 1.0 and the date in the xvesa 7.1 info file, it would appear it was compiled prior to tc 1.0 ?

were you able to figure out how to build the same version you had? the mouse fix works, but that one system just has an issue when doing things like maximize window/etc.. so it's got to be something in the build environment.?

also, search for pthread doesn't find anything in kdrive using it, only xwin and xgl, but the Xvesa you built had that dependency, perhaps you fixed/patched some things before build?

did you try building Xvesa from the xorg 7.1 version? Did you get a binary similar to the one included?

After enough testing it seemed to be more related to lxterminal that did strange things to Xfbdev on some systems, caused the Xvesa hang on others. Changing the terminal and all seems okay now.
