ralink drivers
« on: October 31, 2011, 07:47:37 PM »
could someone update ralink drivers?
I could supply rt5370sta.ko, which is working for me with a 3070 chipset, but the names are confusing me.

Have you tried using firmware.tcz. I have an eeepc 900ax which has an Ralink 2860. Works ok with the firmware.tcz extension loaded.

You're right, I had an old firmware.tcz, but after updating this my stick still doesn't work with rt2870-2.6.33.3-tinycore.tcz.

Sorry, I forgot to say this is about 3.x repo.

My reply was for TC4. I think Jason indicated somewhere that TC3 extensions were no longer being updated.

I don't remember reading that, however, I do remember Jason W stressing that future extension
submissions should indicate whether they are for 3.x, 4.x, or both. See:

If you have an update for a 3.x extension, and are so inclined, I see no reason not to submit it.
