USB Pendrive install in 4.0.2

I'm extremely green when it comes to all things Linux, and I can use some pointers here.
In a previous version of TC, I successfully installed to a USB thumbdrive/pendrive.
When I did it previously, the Control Panel had an HD/USB Install button which just walked me through it.

Wanting to create another TC thumbdrive, I figured this would be a good time to try the latest vers of TC.
My control panel in 4.0.2 is lacking that HD/USB Install button.
Where/how do I go about doing it in this version??

I had also tried just making another pandrive instance from my older version, but it keeps telling me that I need dosfstools and syslinux installed.
Well, I already had these downloaded for OnDemand, so I went into the AppsAudit->OnDemand->Maintenance, and enabled both of them.
It still threw the same alert ...  saying that those two need to be installed.
Even after a save/reboot ... still, the same thing.
Any advice??)

The installer is now a part of multicore, or downloadable as tc-install.tcz on TC/MC.

The wording means they should be loaded - either onboot or ondemand and clicked.

I downloaded the tc-install extension, and loaded it.

When I click the Tiny Core checkbox, it asks me to Select File for tinycore.
I thought I should just use /home/tce/, but the OK button stays disabled.

Where should I find what it's looking for??

BTW, I'm simply booting from a CD in a HDD-less system.
The CD has a burn of the ISO as downloaded directly from the tinycore site.

BTW, when I go through the install process, it seems to just hammer my pendrives.
I've gone through with 3 attempts, and ALL of them become unreadable to either of my TC machines.

One guy here's got kubuntu. He took a look at one and was able to pull up the drive.
It showed as boot-able, but in his words it looked "totally smashed" .
He was able to reformat it though, and now I can at least find the drive in TC.

Am I doing something wrong??

Could be many things.
Could be that your drive has U3 on it or some other hidden partition.
Could be your machine's bios does not support/match the mode you selected USB-HDD or USB-ZIP

You could try unetbootin, it too, is in the repository. Surely one of these options will work for you.

I did get some success making a new pendrive for TC 3.3.
I'll get back to this TC4 hurdle early next week.

In the mean time, I can use a reminder on something.
How do I get the thumbdrive to boot without the CD?

After installing TC to the drive, I copied all the files from a working thumdrive (which boots without a CD) to the freshly created one.
I then tested by booting from the cd, and starting TC via tinycore waitusb=5 tce=sda1.

Everything looks fantastic.

My last step is just removing the CD from the equation, and I can't remember how I went about that last time

Did you change your BIOS boot order?

When testing both thumbdrives on the same box, one boots w/out CD (good), and the other doesn't (not as good).
Both are using the same BIOS.

Any other thoughts ??
(I know this is going to be a forehead-slapping moment when I figure it out)

Not all thumb drives work the same.
Some of the older ones will not emulate a hard drive at boot.

These two thumbdrives are identical twins.
They're from the same lot.

Additionally, when I first created the original, I had to use a CD to boot.
Later, I came across info on how to do away with that need ... and I must not have kept my notes 

Is there a boot parameter that could make the USB bootable??
Or anything else
