I'm trying to setup my new mouse for Xvesa, Xorg-7.4 and Xorg-7.5.
evtest receives all the proper events out of the box, but not all buttons are mapped when I test with xev.
The normal Xvesa only recognized 5 buttons, I might investigate further after reboot.
On Xorg-7.5 everything but Horizontal scrolling works out of the box (Hwheel is not mapped to buttons 6 and 7)
I don't know how to configure Xorg.conf properly, but when I set driver "evdev" and /dev/input/event9 manually the mouse works 100%.
Two problems with that: trackpoint stopped working, eventN should be found automatically to be more flexible.
Anyone know the right way (TM)?
