Poll: Should we have a forum for "Off-Topic - Linux Newbie questions"?

A recent thread where a user asked a question in one of the TC-specific forums about a fundamental Linux question got me thinking... Is there any reason we shouldn't have a a sub-board, maybe "Off-Topic - Noob Questions", for just this sort of Linux newbie questions?

Having a forum for such might keep those sorts of questions out of the TC-specific forums and provide a higher signal-to-noise ratio for both the noobs and the more experienced TC users.

I mentioned something like the above in a PM to one of our admins and he suggested a poll on the subject...  So what do you think?

Maybe "Off-Topic - Linux noob questions" and "Off-Topic - TC noob questions"?
