Tiny Core v3.8.2 minor release is now posted at http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/tinycorelinux/3.x/release/

Change log:
* Updated busybox 1.19.0: df now correct with an embed boot. ash supports reverse searches.
* Updated init to make embed the default. Use new boot code noembed to not.
* Updated F4 boot message screen to reflect change to noembed boot code.
* Updated multicore:
   New tcr boot option for ezremaster and tools.
   New tca boot option to enable all extensions on multicore CD.
* New zsync files posted for iso images.

If you have an older version of the same file, you can use zsync to only download changed parts, e.g.:

zsync -i /path/to/tinycore_3.8.1.iso http://distro.ibiblio.org/tinycorelinux/3.x/release/tinycore_3.8.2.iso.zsync

With new default boot to base is ~ 30% faster. See bootchart.

I just updated from TC 3.5 to 3.8.2. It was a snap. All I had to do was plug in the new bzImage and tinycore.gz files and then run AppsAudit>Updates a couple of times (rebooting in between). Everything works as expected and desired.

Just updated my tinycore by copying bzImage and tinycore.gz.
But my device is unattended (no display, keyboard, mouse...)
I can only connect through ssh (dropbear).

Could you point me to an alternative to update all other packets automatically without using GUI ?
