UDEV at booting time.

I configured a USB-Parallel device with udev. If I plug in the device, once the system has already started, udev successfully create /dev/lp0. But if the device is plugged in when the system is booting, it does not. But if I unplug it and reconnect it again returns to work properly.

What I can do to make udev work properly on boot time?

While I've only seen the  waitusb=5  boot code mentioned for detecting USB drives it might apply
here also, give it a try.

You'd need to remaster your rule in (I'm assuming it's currently in backup, which is restored later).
