having trouble getting xwindows installed

i installed jwm.tce and xwin.tce and xvesa.tce but i can't figure out how to run the gui. i'm in windows right now, because netrik is too much trouble to use with the forum. also when i get xwin running, is there a browser like firefox or opera?

no need for this question yet, just figure it would be good to plan for it. (by the way, tc has both ff and opera, and did you try startx?)
