Left click = space?

In Aterm on standard TCB, a left-click while the Aterm window is active acts as pressing the spacebar in the terminal. I tried compiling xterm from source, and it happens there too. Any ideas on why this might be? I'm using a USB mouse and a PS/2 keyboard.

The problem was with Busybox ash. I changed my shell to bash and all is well.
