QtEmu?

(1/1)

_blue4meridian:
Is this possible with Tiny Core?

Hmm, whilst I imagine that someone could create an extension for this I wonder what would be gained by it.

This looks to me just to be one of those "fluffy GUIs" on top of QEMU, which probably has ten (to twenty) times the size requirements as the underlying tool. Well, given the fact that (according to the web page) it's last release was more then 3 years ago, I furthermore wonder whether it's (fully) usable with the QEMU versions in the repository, as QEMU has the habit of changing it's parameter around from version to version.

If you want to have a go with a (QT) GUI controlling a VM I'd recommed 'VirtualBox' (which is in the repository).

There's a 2.0alpha which is less than 1½ years old.
Source is 874.6 KB, doesn't look extremely big (of course that's relative...).

I downloaded the repository (I have only wifi) and on install I got only as far as a KERNEL dependency error with VirtualBox.  I figured QtEmu or something like it (like qemulator for SliTaz OS) would be the easy way out.
