How to compile bsnes for Tiny Core 3.3?
« on: November 26, 2010, 12:12:29 PM »
I would like to ask if anybody here could either give me step-by-step instructions on how to compile the bsnes source-code in Tiny Core, or pass me some links/guides on how to compile code, and how to compile inside of Tiny Core. I tried the Instructions that the author had on their site(http://byuu.org/bsnes/compilation-guide), but I really don't have any idea as to what I am doing.

I'm fairly new to Linux, but I would like to learn how to properly use the system, so if you know of any good guides (books, sites, etc.), I would appreciate it if you could list them.

From the explanation you linked, it looks straightforward.

I'd suggest reading the tinycore wiki section on making extensions and "linux from scratch" before you start though.

Whoops, I forgot about checking the Wiki, I'll have to do that. Thanks for the link to LFS, it looks like a great resource.
