wicd does not work in xfce

hi this is my first post in the forum, I set the WIFI extension tinycore with WICD, but to give "sudo wicd-start the xfce4 I drop the

stopped /usr/local/bin/dbus-daemon (pid 18 486 18 469 and I have to back out and re-enter without wicd   . to see if you can help a

Try

sudo wicd

instead of

sudo wicd-start
