app for reading windows help files? xxx.chm
jur:
Is there a linux app for reading Windows .chm help files?
gutmensch:
This one http://www.karakas-online.de/downloads/chm2pdf-0.9.tar.gz needs htmldoc, chmlib, pychm and python to work - some efforts needed I guess ;)
curaga:
Wine, at least.

If you already have Firefox, there's a "chm reader" extension. I use it as the MS one does not allow font size adjustments.
SvOlli:
xchm, chmsee and gnochm are the ones that I know about. All depend on libchm; afaik xchm is based on wxwidget, chmsee on gtk+ and gnochm on python-gtk+. And iirc, gnochm renders best.
