Opera
« on: March 10, 2009, 12:02:12 PM »
The Opera extension has been updated to 9.64. The icon and the low-ram menu item (which launch the same thing) have had -no-lirc added. This leaves out some more rarely used code, mainly infrared and other remote controls.

This is also the first extension after the new list guidelines, so if I got the lists wrong, Jason kick me :)

Comments:       Fastest full-featured browser available.
                In /usr/local for persistent configurations.

If you want Truetype fonts, install some and
      fontconfig-2.6.0.tcel. That's it, Opera will
now use them by default over bitmap fonts.
-
Since Opera has a low-ram mode where e-mail,
IRC, and RSS functionality is removed, and
because it's primarily a browser, the icon
launches this low-ram mode. Both are available
                in the menu.
