Current version in repo 1.0.5 dated back to June 2009 built in TC 2.x. Upstream released 1.0.6 on September 20. 2010. Would deserve a new build.

Daniel Barnes does part of bzip2, and I do the -lib extension.  Better to have one person to do bzip2.  I will PM Daniel and see if he wants to update it.   If not, or I don't get a reply in about a week, then either I or someone else can update it.

The latest clamav is considering the repo's bzip2 to be "bugged" (CVE-2010-0405), so I need an update to it before I can move ahead with clamav.  I will go ahead and update bzip2 in the repo so I can proceed.  If Daniel would like to rebuild and resubmit his build of bzip2 at a later time or just simply be the owner of it for future updates that is great, but since it is a system library that is affected by a vulnerability, and one that will prevent some current packages from linking to it, I will step in update it now.
