Installing Squid

While installing squid in tinycore the error message while enter ./configure

 Checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c
 Checking whether bulid environment is sane .. yes
 Checking for a thread-safe mkdir -p .. cfgaux/install-sh -s -d
 Checking for gawk... gawk
 Cheching whether make sets... yes
 Checking how to create a ustar tar archive... plaintar
 Checking whether to enable maintainer-specific portions of Makefiles... no
 Checking for gcc..gcc
 Checking for C compiler default output file name...
 Configure: error : C complier cannot create executables
 ...

This is the error im getting how to solve this..... kindly anyone reply me............

This looks like you do not have the entire compiletc package, probably base-dev, but it could be others.

Did you check that all the extensions listed in http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/tinycorelinux/2.x/tcz/compiletc.tcz.dep are present?

how to restart squid service
