There is one issue that I have found.  Qt installs into /usr/local/lib/qt-4.2.2/{bin,lib,include..} and the binaries and libraries are not in the recognized paths.  Shell wrappers will normally have to be used with apps that use qt and building against qt will be more difficult with things not in the normal paths.  Would it be possible to install into /usr/local instead of /usr/local/qt-4.2.2?  That would make using this extension easier.

Never mind, upon further looking $PREFIX/lib/qt* is a normal place to install qt.

The only addition to the default path was adding local.  The weird thing, however, is that no links were included in the package, so to use it I had to create my own so.4 files. I  don't know why that is, as they seem to be included in the directory of other installations. I think I'll just create them and resubmit.  Also, I'll send libQt3Support.so.4

Edit: Submitted

Great, I'll post it.  I am wrapping up K3B which must have qt-3.x so we will also have QT3 and Kdelibs-3.5.10.
