XFCE desktop installation buggy
« on: March 05, 2010, 12:36:22 PM »
hi!

I want to install the XFCE desktop from repository.
Therefor I select Xfce4base.tcz and some other related files.

The installation runs through, however after restarting there's no XFCE desktop.
Even worse, the desktop is buggy means I cannot move any windows with mouse.

Is it not recommended to install XFCE?
Are there any installation guides?

Note
LXDE runs without any problems.

Tested on TC 2.9 it works as expected no any issue seen.

Must be local issue like low memory, unsupported processor, faulty RAM, ...Without knowing TC version and hardware no one can help you.
