script assignment to specific keys?
« on: February 17, 2010, 01:42:40 AM »
I was wondering how do you set up specific keys to run scripts or commands,  in Tiny Core. Something similar to .xbindkeysrc. I would guess .profile or .xsession? But what's the format (if any of these)?

If your WM provides such (jwm for example has it, I think xfce and fluxbox as well), then that; if not, see the actkbd extension.
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.

I try to keep it a simple as possible for the OLPC XO-1, so I try not to use other WMs. I'll see about the actkbd, though the included examples are not very illuminating.
