pidgin won't start, can't find libgstinterfaces-0.10.so.0

apparently some extension got bombed but I can't figure out which one with the appbrowser, searching the tcl forums with google, nor can I figure out how to delete pidgin and force it to reload.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Using the "Provides" option of appbrowser shows that library is provided by gst-plugins-base.tcz

I don't see gst-plugins-base.tcz listed in the pidgin.tcz.dep, so it would not have been loaded via pidgin.tcz.
