tce audit operation observations
« on: January 25, 2010, 05:44:40 PM »
I have been playing around with tc v2.8 on windows qemu using a wireless internet link. When installing the emelfm file manager extension the wireless link went a little flakey and caused the app browser installation to fail after 2 of the dependencies were downloaded.

So then I repeated the app browser installation of emelfm and it completed OK. However, when I went to the apps audit and did a list of the dependencies many were missing.  I figured  I should be able to do  an update on the dependencies and all the missing ones would be installed. This did not happen so I guess the extension must be removed and then  reinstalled.

That function "Update Dependencies" is not 'find missing dependencies and download them'.
Perhaps a much longer title is needed, as it 'updates existing .dep files and builds a database' for auditing your installed set.
