hi,
i checked my speed using newbielink:http://www.ip-details.com/
[nonactive]
it shows my speed is around 2.3Mbps, but 5Mbps is what i actually signed for, why is speed very less

First check your contract and ask your ISP. 5 Mbit/s is the nominal speed which is not guaranteed. For example in Hungary for a long time ISP's did not specify the minimum guaranteed bandwidth. A year ago they were legally forced to do so. Now in most cases they guarantee 50%. This is for the network part they are controlling. Speed to a certain host maybe much less or even zero.
