I saw Avatar.  Amazing!  Obviously, it took a lot of CPU cycles.  Linux is great for creating an optimal computer for highly-demanding applications, like producing this film.

i'd like to, but at this time i am too busy with my job; however, i have read a lot around about the film, and it gives me a mixed feeling: high technical film for some but lakes in the content, high technical film for others and a deep dark content; what do you think?

And worth to go to IMAX than 3D if you can.

I didn't try IMAX 3D myself, but it seems (here at least) most people preferred the Digital 3D to IMAX 3D
