Do you know another mirror hosting Tiny Core?

(1/2) > >>

Guy:
The official Tiny Core host is:
North Carolina, U.S.A.
http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/tinycorelinux/

Some other mirrors are:

Greece
http://ftp.cc.uoc.gr/mirrors/linux/tinycorelinux/
ftp://ftp.cc.uoc.gr/mirrors/linux/tinycorelinux/

Netherlands
http://ftp.nluug.nl/os/Linux/distr/tinycorelinux/
http://ftp.vim.org/os/Linux/distr/tinycorelinux/

Do you know any others? Post them here.
If you know which country it is hosted in, include that.

If you want to use another mirror with Appbrowser, edit /opt/.tcrc, putting in the mirror of your choice.
Use the same format as the existing. Leave off http:// at the beginning, and put 2.x at the end. That will be 3.x in the future. Change the protocol to ftp where appropriate.

Be aware, when something is added or updated on the official site, there may be some time before this appears on the other mirrors.

I checked randomly 4-5 from the list. These are mirrors of other sites, like redhat, centos, kde, etc. but did not find distro.ibiblio.org including tinycore mirrored. Maybe it is there and only I couldn't find it of course...

curaga:
Yes, some of the ibiblio mirrors aren't quite up to date. Nluug however is in that list.
