gtk2
« on: October 25, 2009, 01:46:02 PM »
Updated to 2.18.3.  This adds Xlibs_support as a dependency of any app that uses gtk2, so be sure to include it in the dep file when making new apps.  The existing gtk2 apps already have Xlibs_support added to their dep files.

Note:  Emelfm2 seems to have icon trouble with this update, I will get to it soon.

Does /usr/local/bin/gtk-update-icon-cache belong in gtk2-devs or would it be better located in gtk2?

The reason I ask is that this would (probably) be required if you wanted to use the icons in the gnome-icon-theme extension, gtk2_prefs and similar?

I see that Debian has the gtk2 executables like that in a gtk2-bin package.  Which for us would put them in the main gtk2 extnesion.  I will move them there this afternoon.

Reinstating 2.18.3 for now, there was a typo in the startup script and a missing dependency during build that was not apparent on my box.

Pango was causing the issues.  Both gtk and pango reverted for now.

I just renamed the gtk2-devs and gtk2-locales to current as the they were restored from earlier backup before the current naming.
