since we already have the necessary gsm modem stuff (network maganer + usb_modeswitch, etc)
we could use mobile-broadband-provider-info (http://live.gnome.org/NetworkManager/MobileBroadband/ServiceProviders).

not sure which app will make use of it. ubuntu had some nice mobile broadband provider wizard using this configuration.

ok i will package it,

i don't have a gsm modem but isn't ModemManager for gsm modems ? It is available in repo and when available automatically started by NetworkManager.

btw mobile-broadband-provider-info is used by network-manager-gnome

Hi Y'all!

I would really appreciate if someone could take on the task of updating K3B to version 2.0 and make sure that it works on TC 3.0.

Have fun doing a good work in making extensions for TC,

I would be very happy, if someone adds GogglesMM or QuodLibet+QuodLibet-Plugins packages to TinyCore.
Where the priority lies on QuodLibet. They are both very lightweight, so it should'nt be conflicting with TinyCore's philosophy.

Thanks!

elohim, rhythmbox has a very similar look to those two, if you'd like to take a look at it.

Yes, it has a similar look, but the last.fm scrobbling doesnt really work.
Also rythmbox seems kind of slow to me.

BTW. My wireless card doesnt work.

I need this driver. Could you add it to the wireless drivers? Because I saw that 8180 is in there, but it only works with r8192se_pci.
I know that from ArchLinux
