Should be.
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.

setting permission (with chmod 777) in the directory tc.
If you mean the /home/tc directory is now chmod 777, I have to say I think that's a bad idea.  Most directories in a Linux system should not have universal write permission (/tmp is the only one I can think of).  If you run Crossover as user tc, you shouldn't have an issue with permissions inside /home/tc.  If you run it as a different user, Crossover should have its files in a different directory whose ownership (not mode) is set to that user.

You are right.

I have wanted to make a test to see if I succeeded in understanding the problem. In fact, the script " sh install-crossover-standard-demo -8.0.0.sh" have this result http://www.tiaiuto.com/tcit/immagini/7.png
That is' it tells me that I don't have space....
While setting universal write permission seem that the Crossover istall is successful...but I don't succeed in installing msaccess office.....

do they perhaps miss some libraries? ???
thanks for you answer.

I explain better:

Project purpose:

The purpose of the project is to develop of some mini distributions which runs on pendrive finalized to perform a single application.

The distributions must have the maximum of portability, but on modern computers, endowed with enough (at least 2 gb) ram, diskless, supporting boot from a USB drive.
This way is not necessary to travel with a laptop computer;with the actual diffusion of the computers it`s possible to go to every part of the world bringing only the pendrive, and, unlike VMware Appliances, without it requires' of an underlying operating system wich asks for a lot of resources.

Economics proceeds:

- sale of key usb already' ready to perform data programs
- sale of key usb with  custom tc operating system

Examples:

- a internet key with embedded operating system (TC)
- a pendrive to use MSaccess on linux
- a pendrive to display goods for sale

Project Overview

The system must be able to also be performed on a computer diskless;after boot automatically unmount the pen drive

Boot Process
- to the boot to create a ramdisk of 100 mb
- to automatically copy a file name.mdb from pendrive on the ramdisk
- automatically to launch him from crossover
- automatically unmount the pendrive
- to modify the logout so that to the closing of TC there is a message that require to insert the pendrive for the backup
- at the end of the backup automatic Shutdown without confirmation request.

Software

TC microdrive without jwm but with graphic libraries to perform the single application.

Example for MSaccess the graphic librerires required for wine and crossover.

The system must be able to also be performed on a computer diskless;after boot automatically unmount the pen drive
inside the tce dir create an empty file called tcz2ram.flg
....- to automatically copy a file name.mdb from pendrive on the ramdisk ...
put in /opt/.filetool.lst this line for example:
home/tc/name.mdb
- automatically to launch him from crossover
u can put this line in /home/tc/.xsession
wine msaccess.exe
- automatically unmount the pendrive
umount /dev/sda1
 in /home/tc/.xsession
- to modify the logout so that to the closing of TC there is a message that require to insert the pendrive for the backup
- at the end of the backup automatic Shutdown without confirmation request.
Already there is a flag in the shiutdow windw that ask for backup.
TC microdrive without jwm but with graphic libraries to perform the single application.
jwm is not anymore tc's dewfault wm, now there is flwm where u see u have a wm only when u riht click.
