Xvesa setup only for running session?
« on: September 12, 2009, 08:16:39 PM »
Hi there,

I have a question about Xvesa:
I have TC installed on a USB stick. When I put it into my machine at home, I have to run through an Xvesa setup to set the resolution to 1440x900. Now next time I start this resolution is already set.
But, what happens when I start it on another machine? Probably, this resolution will still be there.
Is there a way to run throug the Xvesa setup and have the effect just for the running session (with restarting only X)?

Regards,
fladd

Use the xsetup boot option.
It is listed on the Wiki.
