« on: October 31, 2022, 04:47:10 AM »
Hello F,

With Vivaldi web browser, if a user installs a fresh version of it, how can he or she
drag over all the settings and extensions from some other install of it?

a config file?...where? and how?......... and does that file also drag over extensions?

Thx.

Most configuration data is saved in your home directory (/home/tc by default), so you could try searching there.

The data might be in a hidden file or folder (i.e. preceded by a dot, “.”).

As Juanito pointed out, I'd look for a directory called /home/tc/.vivaldi or similar.

I just wanted to add that another good place to look is inside the /home/tc/.config directory. Maybe there is a /home/tc/.config/vivaldi directory or something like that.

(If you are using a username other than the default "tc", substitute as appropriate.)
