flnotify
« on: November 15, 2021, 08:37:20 AM »

flnotify, invoked from an aterm under jwm, 5.10.3-tinycore64, exits with "error while loading shared libraries: libfltk.so.1.1", no such file.
I see there is no dep file for flnotify, and in any case I don't see a tcz that provides libfltk.so.1.1.

No recent mention in the forum, - perhaps flnotify has gotten a little rusty.  As an aside, I was trying it because xmessage seemed to hard hang jwm or X on a corepure64 v 12 on one machine I use, but not another, but I haven't had a chance to really look at it yet.

It probably works with fltk 1.3 with just a recompile, do try.

I did as rich suggested and it executes ok.

I tried to find the flnotify source by dredging through some of the old repositories, but couldn't find it. Would you have a pointer?

Hi netsocket
There's a flnotify tarball at the bottom of this page:
http://tinycorelinux.net/4.x/x86/tcz/src/

It contains version 0.9.1.

The build script probably needs some changes. I think the  -I/opt/...  and  -L/opt/...  flags need to be removed.

There is a second tarball inside that contains what is probably an older version.

Looks like it was in our old git but not copied to github? Copied now: https://github.com/tinycorelinux/flnotify
