Error occurred during backup
« on: March 04, 2021, 11:03:30 AM »
Good Eventing,

rebooting the laptop I have this: error during the backup, the content of the file /tmp/backup_status is this:

tar: usr/local/etc/cups/printers.conf: No such file or directory
tar: usr/local/etc/cups/ppd/HP_LaserJet_MFP_M28-M31.ppd: No such file or directory
tar: error exit delayed from previous errors

What I have to do?

Printer was installed and works good

Thank you for your reply

Hi rullolex
Based on those messages, you are trying to backup files that do not exist. Remove those 2 entries from your
/opt/.filetool.lst  file. Click the  ControlPanel  icon (3rd from the left) and click the  Backup/Restore  button. When
the dialog opens up, select the  Include for Backup (.filetool.lst)  tab. Select those 2 items and delete them.

Hi Rich,

thank you for your reply, I delete the file form the backup panel.

Any idea why the two files are vanish?

Hi rullolex
If you had those files backed up and you booted using the  norestore  boot code, they would not be present.

Hi Rich,

thank you for your replay, I never changed the boot code (I don't know how do that) but it is not a problem I will reinstall the printer :)
