It depends on old versions of openssl and readline so would need recompiling.

i see libsndfile-doc.tcz listed in tcz but perhaps the actual library is missing?  i found a version in newbielink:http://tinycorelinux.net/11.x/armv6/tcz/ [nonactive]

Thanks, still getting used to case mattering everywhere. However, while I was able to download http://tinycorelinux.net/12.x/armv7/tcz/TC.tcz with correct case, I'm actually on 12-alpha armv7l, and although TC is listed by tce-ab I cannot download it or read it. I'd noticed it's not listed in http://tinycorelinux.net/12.x/armv7l/tcz/ and was gonna try the armv7 just in case. I'll update and try again.
