What exactly is microcore vs regular tinycore?
« on: January 16, 2020, 10:21:56 AM »
Hi,
I'm having trouble understanding what exactly constitutes "microcore". The Corebook doesn't mention it at all, so I'm wondering if it's:

a) vmlinuz + rootfs.gz,
b) vmlinuz + core.gz  - what the downloads section calls 11MB "Core" whereas "Tinycore" is the 16MB one which includes GUI elements,
c) something else

Thanks,
Rafael

Cool. So is this subforum the place to discuss "Core" then?

Cheers,
