Inkscape
« on: May 14, 2019, 07:27:39 AM »
Why is this simple distro making me feel Stupid!   I installed 8.2, I had it laying around for awhile, and just now decided to work with it in more depth. I will go to 10 soon, but... anyway... I'm confused about a few things. #1. There is no Inkscape in the repository list of the package manager for my Tiny Core distro. I have been to http://distro.ibiblio.org/tinycorelinux/tcz/ to try and download it, but it has a tczl extension.. not tcz.. I do not know enough about installing these packages yet, and I have looked everywhere on this type of file, AND installing Inkscape.. Please tell me how to install this program. Seems like a simple request, but I'm getting #$##$%^  Thanks!   ps.. what is a tce file, and what is the difference between tce, and tcz, tczl.. etc...  I know how to install in the command line.. I THINK !  tc-load wi program.. etc...

Hi kevinabsey

That looks like a TC1 repository. You can't use that. TC8 does not have an  inkscape  extension available in 32 bit, only 64 bit.
Inkscape  is available in 32 and 64 bit in TC10.
