From Power Up To Bash Prompt
« on: December 13, 2008, 09:09:52 PM »
Would the TC Team find it helpful to have a TC customized version of Greg O'Keefe's "From Power Up To Bash Prompt", http://axiom.anu.edu.au/~okeefe/p2b/power2bash/power2bash.html, placed in the TC wiki?  It would not be one big article, but a series of articles connected from a master Table of Contents so we could gradually improve subsections.  The objective would be to provide all potential TC users a solid understanding of what TC does to get started.

i'm not sure the author would like it. he's opensourced the document. but only under the gpl (not the fdl,) making the license incompatible with most wikis.

you could ask. personally i would assume that anyone using the gpl (for documentation) over fdl or cc would prefer it stay gpl. you never know unless you ask.

Oh, I fully intended to ask Greg O'Keefe, but I thought I would start here to see if it was a desired addition to the TC wiki.
