Fifth browser clearing lockups
« on: April 24, 2017, 09:19:20 PM »
With each new TC /PiCore release, the fifth browser seems to get more stable.  I'm running the standard default TC window manager.

Still, some pages might throw the usual marketing garbage into the browser, and seemingly cause it to lock up a tab, or have a real long hang time - no matter what settings you have.

I found one way around some of these hangs from the marketing junk that may make it go dumb:

Resize the window with CTRL-ALT-M.  *Even if you already have it set the way you like it* , do one or two of these, and the locked up / sluggish tab will become responsive again.

I know there are a lot of inter-relationships with browsers and support libraries, but this trick seems to kick something in the pants. :)
