How to boot in CLI before GUI
« on: September 24, 2016, 07:52:11 AM »
I have installed TCL on harddrive.
It is working perfectly in GUI.
How can boot it in CLI (before GUI, executing script in /home/tc/.X.d/)?

Hi
Use the  text  boot code.
http://tinycorelinux.net/faq.html#bootcodes
Download a copy and keep it handy: Core book ;)

Thanks.
I have CorePlus installation on hard drive and tried by pressing F2, F3 and F4 while boot up, but not getting options for CLI. :-[

Hi ipmeel

Open you boot config file and create a new boot stanza  to include the " text " bootcode and / or any option you desire.

Then reboot and select this option from the boot menu
