Automated kernel modules update
« on: May 15, 2016, 02:29:49 AM »
Hi all,
I'm looking for some script for automated update of all the abc-KERNEL.tcz packages from the source, when the new kernel occurs. Any idea how to do so?
Béla updates the basic ones, but I'm using a lot of another dedicated which are not in the repo.

Jan, which modules are you missing? Are these part of the kernel build, available on the server or your own custom modules?

Béla,
I'm using the modules from the repo, there is no problem.
But than I'm using modules from the /src directory and some my own ones.
There are than hundreds of files to be replaced when the new kernel occurs. Guess there will be some script, or may be only command which will grab the filenames in the existing folder and replaces it with the same name from the another folder.
