undetected printer in the Print window

Hi

Cups is set up, the printer, Hp photosmart all in one, is added.  I can print an image file with the lp command, not a text file (not usable font available).
But my printer is not listed in the print popup, so I can't print.
The printer status is "idel - can't detect file type"
