[HELP] Asus eeePC 900A, won't boot
« on: September 15, 2015, 10:36:14 PM »
I could only find one thread regarding the 900a, and it was from 2009.

I'm trying to install from USB. I've successfully installed other distros from USB, so it should work in theory...

I've tried all three Core, TinyCore, and CorePlus (I tried almost all the options here). None of them get past "Setting Language to C done".

Any ideas? Any place I can look at logs?

what version are you using 4.x, 5.x, 6.x?

32-bit, 64-bit?

Could be the RTC? Try the "nortc" bootcode. If still not, add "debug" to have more kernel messages.
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.

Ok, you say it never makes it past "Setting Language to C..." What happens instead?
