Synergy
« on: September 10, 2015, 07:52:12 PM »
Hi All,

One of the guys here found this.
http://synergy-project.org/

on Pi's

Any chance of someone making a tcz, beyond my skills at the moment.

If you are a developer like me you might have 4 computers/keyboards/mice on the desk with 5 screens.
Hmm probably won't work with console mode on the Pi's

Got it going on Windows and Ubuntu Mate, supercool.

Now trying to compile version 1.7.4 on Raspbian.
yuk, so many dependencies, people have been here before thanks goodness.

I think making .tcz's has got to be simple compared to C compiling src code.

Rats, got up to 80% build before saying something about SecureSocket.
Lots of X11 stuff so probably only suitable for the X11 piCore version.
Think I will stick with Filezilla/Superputty and sshing for my piCore coding.

Bumping this thread to cross-post a relevant new investigation of creating a tcz for Synergy on the rPi.
