Linux NAS Hardware
« on: June 07, 2009, 04:41:06 AM »
I'm looking for a network hd since my maxstor mss+ 250GB is almost full.

Although the network hd (products from Buffalo, etc) I've looked at all seem to use linux to run, they only seem to be designed with various flavours of windows in mind and thus do not support linux filesystems.

Whilst I can of course read/write my tc files to the mss+, it has to be mounted via samba and it's a pain to lose the file permissions.

Does anybody know of network hd available with linux use in mind?
