Missing libiconv.
« on: May 04, 2015, 06:20:20 AM »
Missing libiconv when trying to install/run vlc.
Go to ftp://distro.ibiblio.org/tinycorelinux/5.x/x86/tcz/ & download libiconv.tcz - then using sudo, copy it into your tce directory, open Apps> Maintenance> OnBoot Maintenance, select it in the left hand side panel, then use Add item to put it into the right hand panel. Go back to Apps> Load app locally, select it, then Load it, that should get vlc working.
AMD, ARM, & Intel.

Your tce folder should be owned by $USER so you should not use sudo to copy items there.

There is no need to set libiconv onboot, it will be loaded by vlc.

I will recompile qt4 and vlc next.
